The Grog Shop is turning 29 years old this month and we’re thrilled to announce a great lineup of shows to celebrate their anniversary weekend!

Our annual Harvey Pekar Comic Fest is BACK! This year, we are pulling out all the stops to make this year's festival unforgettable.

Final Friday will feature an all-night happy hour at participating bars, discounted shopping at local merchants, sidewalk art walk, live entertainment, and engaging activities for all!Come, be a part of a vibrant and creative evening like none other.

The best of friends are the hardest ones to say goodbye to! We are so sad to see our beloved friends at City Buddha leave, but we are excited about the next chapter. Cleveland Heights, Ohio -- Coventry Village is excited to announce that two incredible local organizers will be hosting a Back to School Drive in the neighborhood! KidFly Attire and Winedowntogether have created a full day to celebrate the new school year. Join us in Coventry Village from 2-8 pm on Aug 21, 2021. This event is free to the public and open to all ages, featuring over 60 vendors throughout Coventry Village. There will be activities planned throughout the day that the whole family will enjoy! 

The Rust Belt Riders Neighborhood food-scrap drop-off program is available in the City of Cleveland Heights. Bins will be found in the parking lot of the Coventry PEACE Campus off of Euclid Heights Blvd and will be available 24/7/365 for collection of household food scraps. 

University Heights Symphonic Band announces a summer performance at the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park. The performance will take place on Friday, July 30, as part of the Coventry Village Special Improvement District’s Final Fridays series and will mark one of the band’s first events since returning to performing after the COVID-19 pandemic. This concert will begin at 7:30 PM.

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library System voted to accept from the school district the transfer of the former Coventry school property, including the school building, playground and greenspace, at a special meeting of its board of trustees on Feb. 5.

Tommy Fello (Tommy's Restaurant) shared the sweetest letter and tribute to his long-time friend, Steve Presser (Big Fun.) One of the things that makes Coventry Village like no other is the wonderful friendships built between merchants.

We all love the Coventry Playground and Gardens, but it takes a lot of neighbors and friends to keep it looking good. Students, families and neighbors are invited to fall workday, a fun and rewarding day of cleaning, gardening and repairing.

Park once and take CircleLink, University Circle's FREE neighborhood circulator. to your next destination. Starting October 1st, service will begin running routes from Coventry Village to University Circle and Little Italy.

The Grog Shop opened in 1992 when Kathy Blackman and two other business partners took over a Cleveland Heights bar on the corner of Coventry and Mayfield roads. They all lived near the space and thought it would make for a good rock club. They were right.

This year’s race will take place on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. The race is a fun run for all ages and abilities, as well as a chip-timed race for the competitive runner. The race, now in its third year, has raised more than $10,000, providing hundreds of scholarships each year to deserving children.

Cleveland Heights native Emily Pomeranz moved to Washington D.C., but always had fond memories of the milkshakes at Tommy's in Coventry. As Emily was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was moved to hospice, she had a last dying wish for two things: a Cleveland Indians ball cap and a Tommy's milkshake.
