[...] •Coventry School P.E.A.C.E. Playground, intersection of Coventry Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard, Cleveland Heights: THE best slides in town, hands down. The massive slides run the length of the hillside on this playground tucked away off Coventry near Euclid Heights. Some take two flights of stairs to reach the top. But despite their length, the slope of the slide is mild enough for even young children, and the slides are almost wide enough for a family of five to sit across. The nautical-themed playground also has fantastic planks and walkways for running, exploring and climbing; some cool oversized tire swings; and much more. Even better, it’s at the end of one of the most interesting streets in Northeast Ohio, so you can top your day off with a shake at Tommy’s cafe after an afternoon of playing. Several events are planned for the park this summer, including “Drive-In Style Movies Without the Cars” at 9 p.m. Thursdays. “The Wizard of Oz” screens this week. [...]
