August 12, 2010 is our Party in the P.E.A.C.E. Park, marking the final night of the 2010 Music and Movies Series on Coventry. As many of you know, we had originally planned to show an audience choice movie that night—based on your votes in the accompanying poll.
Given the recent passing of Harvey Pekar, a long-time friend of the Coventry community, we've decided to honor his memory with a showing of American Splendor—instead of the Audience Choice selection.
As a result, we're changing our poll so that we can apply your votes towards a movie choice for next year. If you have already voted, those votes will count towards next year's selection. We'd also love to hear your suggestions for other movies we might run in 2011. If you have a favorite film you would like us to show, please share it with us in the comments below.
